At Surrogate Rec. we want you to be satisfied with your purchase. Please read our return and refund policy carefully before placing an order.

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection laws.

Returns

We accept returns for both defective and non-defective products within 30 days of delivery.

To be eligible for a return:

  • Items must be unused and in original condition.
  • Vinyl records, CDs, and cassette tapes must remain unopened unless they are defective.
  • All original packaging must be included.

Returns requested after 30 days from delivery may not be accepted.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned unless they arrive damaged or defective:

  • Opened vinyl records
  • Opened CDs or cassette tapes
  • Limited edition items
  • Discounted or clearance items
  • Custom or made-to-order merchandise

Damaged or Incorrect Orders

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within 7 days of delivery.

Please include:

  • Your order number
  • Photos of the item
  • Photos of the packaging

Depending on the situation, we may offer:

  • Replacement
  • Store credit
  • Full refund

Return Shipping Costs

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless:

  • The item was damaged
  • The item was defective
  • The wrong item was sent

Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is caused by our error.

We recommend using a tracked shipping service for all returns.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you about the approval or rejection of your refund.

Approved refunds are processed within 5–10 business days to the original payment method.

Additional processing time may apply depending on your bank or payment provider.

Exchanges

We accept exchanges only for defective or damaged products and only when replacement stock is available.

Lost Packages

We are not responsible for packages lost due to incorrect shipping addresses provided by customers.

If a shipment is lost in transit, we will assist in opening a claim with the shipping carrier.

International Orders

International customers are responsible for:

  • Customs fees
  • Import taxes
  • VAT
  • Any additional local charges

These fees are non-refundable.
